Healing of injuries is facilitated by therapy. Physiotherapy modalities include ice/heat treatments, ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, traction, massage, topical analgesics, and the explanation and fitting of supportive devices.
Massage
At times massage therapy may be in order to help improve circulation and reduce stress. Our office staffs certified massage therapists who can provide 30- and 60-minute massages. These therapies may include sports massage, deep tissue massage, and pregnancy massage. This treatment is often covered by insurance.
Customized Stretches and Exercises
As a patient of Dr. Matt‘s Health One, you can expect to receive education during your chiropractic appointments to help you manage your pain and improve your health at home. This usually includes stretches and exercises that are designed to address your particular problem.
